I brought a massive loa...This article saved my day. I brought a massive load of stuff in a UHaul trailer from Houston to Oklahoma. It's about 9pm and freezing cold, my load had shifted, and I can't open the door more than about 10 inches (the end of a ladder was stuck in the door track and I couldn't move it with such little room). Tried brute force and hammering - nothing worked. Called the UHaul hotline for help, and they told me they won't send anyone to help with a stuck trailer door. But 'maybe you can take it somewhere so someone will help you open it' - thanks for that! On my phone, I searched for help, and this was the only help I could find for a stuck UHaul door. The truck jack worked! And like you, nothing was broken, though I would have loved to have broken the door since I took out the extra insurance.
